The Midwife based in the community works from the Medical Centre. Her role is to help expectant mothers with all aspects of their healthcare during and after their pregnancy. She holds antenatal clinics here which are via a booked appointment.
The district Nurses are based at Brundall surgery and carry out various procedures in your own home, and act as an extension of our team at the health centre for those patients who are housebound.
A health visitor is a registered Nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
